The welding world is a fun place to be. Welding is not only useful and practical, but also good for the soul!
Our classes are taught by Erik Irvine; President of Journey Certified Welding. He is a professional instructor who is also certified to weld in all of the processes taught. He has over 25 years of experience in the welding industry, the only thing he loves more than welding is the people he gets to share it with. Learn the science behind welding while ensuring safety and gaining hands-on experience.
In-Person, 3-hour class, learn the basics of welding including safety and the science, with hands-on experience welding you will never forget. Classes are held monthly.
Father-Son, Father-Daughter, Mother-Son, Mother-Daughter, Grandparent-Grandkid, and other combos. This 3-hour class teaches the basics of welding and focuses on a joint experience between two family members. Classes are held monthly.
This 4-hour workshop is perfect for church groups, school groups, and birthday parties, class allows up to 12 students, with time set aside for group specific activities. Contact us for scheduling.

This class will cover the different the types of certifications from AWS and ASME, thickness ranges, material types, etc. so you can choose the right certification for your career. Students will also weld, and the instructor will assess your readiness for certification. Students will walk out knowing which test(s) they want to take and what they need to work on prior to test day.
This is a noninstructional class allotted for testing by a Certified Welding Inspector of weld tests for SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or GMAW processes. Class includes equipment, one (1) set of test coupons, test booth, visual examination, destructive testing, and documented certification (allow 48 hours for certification to be mailed/emailed after test date).
If you've already taken the intro class, this class further explains and allows for practice in the Tig Welding Process.
This class focuses on the GMAW (Mig) Welding Process and includes the material and time to weld your own metal plane to take home.
Base material, filler material, and welding equipment will be provided. Students to bring pants, closed toed shoes, and welding helmet.
